This is more my speed than the other topic going on here!

Jenny, the Kitten bowl is ADORABLE!!! Such a cute idea! The puppy bowl is cute too, but I like the Kittens better! I'm glad they rerun it so I can still watch the regular Super bowl and not have to miss this.

I love how they name the kittens after football players. Like Tom Cat Brady, Feline Manning, Tabby Romo , Feral Owens!!

It's just so cute. I remember last year, things like "interference called for excess cuteness", "timeout for nap for one of the cats." etc.
That's cool about the names. I didn't notice the football references bvecause I'm not a sports fan.

So far, so good.

We've been taking it slow and it's good that we aren't on a "business" relationship. I'd say we've definitely gotten closer, but not romantic yet. She offered to accompany me to my upcoming dental surgery.

My niece [step-niece] is due August 19th. She will be 21 when she has her baby. Seems strange to think at 36 I will be a great-aunt. It must seem really strange to my sister [half-sister] will be a great aunt at 22. lol.

I guess the trend is to announce things on FB. My niece made the news public today.
Last year my mother's, husband's daughter, my step-sister, announced her pregnancy on FB and then announced when she had her son at the end of last year.

I got enough money in my acct. so I could get my medicine that I was forced to cut back on, now I'll have even more money next Wednesday when my next disability check comes from "Uncle Sam".

At 3:30 today I became an Uncle for the second time. Her name is Miranda June. June was my Mother's name. It came 2 days after my sister's 33rd birthday. She didn't want the baby born on that day. lol Mother and daughter are both doing well.

Congrats Sonny. That's sweet that they gave your niece your mother's name for her middle name.

Congratulations on the new family member, Sonny!! That's a wide gap in age between you and your sis. I had something similar, being 13 years younger than my only brother.

Thanks Michael. She's my youngest sister. My other sister is 12 years younger than me. I had given up hope of ever having a sibling by then. lol

Jenny, what time will it be on? I'm not too into the Super bowl this year! None of the teams I wanted are in, so I'm thinking of sending George (my husband) down to his brothers to watch it and I'll stay and watch the Kitten bowl!
