as some of you know, I'm in a wheelchair because I have a rare, progressive, muscular disease for which exercise is important. Because of that I have been taking physical therapy for the last 2 years at this Great place that's only 15 minutes away from me. However I can only go for a few months every year because Medicare has a totally ****** "therapy cap limit" which limits how much they can pay for it in any given year!!! (a LOT of doctors and therapists HATE that too!!) Well I wrote to our state senator about it, and was told of a way to get around it so Medicare will still pay. And now my therapist (who is also not bad on the eyes if you know what I mean ) anyway she's going to look into it for me. An also the p.t. place may let me continue going for free!!! (they did that last year when this happened)

I'm in New York, NY for my birthday... The last one of my 20s... What more could a girl ask for?

After having quite a mediocre week, I had a great night out at dinner, a movie and then the bar.

Thumbs up

I bought airline tickets last month. Can't wait to go visit my BFF, Janice, at the end of October!

Thanks Michael.

treky, that's good that your PT place is letting you continue to go for free for the yrest of the yer. I'm sure they understand how important physical therapy is.
