Love the morning marathons. Not a bad schedule at all.

I like the morning marathons too. Don't necessarily like all the shows, so it makes it easier to just watch (especially record) the ones you do like in blocks instead of watching 30 min or 1-hr every single day. I do kind of wish Fridays would be All in the Family and I'm surprised one of them is not Bewitched with TV Land re-introducing that show. But I guess since they aren't doing the westerns on the weekends anymore, this gives them a way to do more Bonanza.

And an appearance by Good Times (first one in 2010!) Maybe the last?

I just noticed this! Would not surprise me if it's the last. Good Times, Star Trek, Brady Bunch, and Little House are toast on TV Land when their contracts expire if you ask me.

I wish they would do a Star Trek marathon. That show just seems like it has never aired compared to the others. I can barely remember it airing regularly except when it first launched.

If I remember correctly Star Trek can only be shown between 8pm - 8am. Dramas (and nowadays most older shows) really don't work between 8pm - 6am and when TV Land started doing Paid Programming, there wasn't a lot they could do with Star Trek. Don't know why it couldn't stay on Sundays at 6am instead of Roseanne? Similar story for Little House except I think it does a little better and it's 6pm - 6am.

I noticed with the upcoming episodes of Leave it to Beaver, they will be going back to the beginning on Mondays in a few weeks (but airing episodes beyond 170 on Fridays at 9am). They also seem to do this lately. Episodes beyond 160 hardly ever get aired. Last summer they went back to the beginning after the hit the 150s.

Who has the daytime rights to Star Trek? I'm not aware of any other channel airing it. They should air it on Sat/Sun mornings instead of those EM: HE 2 hour episodes. I don't think they will be getting any more older shows that they can just air at night like these, because the concept doesn't work anymore (including M*A*S*H, which I bet will probably be just in the middle of the night entirely by the end of the year) since they are going in a newer direction in that time frame.

Why would they skip those Beaver episodes? Some of my favorites are in those later seasons. It was renewed last May and hasn't aired a lot, so they should have tons of plays so it can't be that.

I wonder what classic casts will get reunited at the next TVLand Awards-I have to admit I think the show itself is usually pretty dumb, the only high point is seeing some of the folks together again.

As mentioned, returning in May:

JOAN RIVERS RETURNS TO TV LAND AS NETWORK ORDERS SECOND SEASON OF HIT REALITY SERIES

“HOW’D YOU GET SO RICH?” PREMIERING WEDNESDAY, MAY 5

Series Explores The Aspirational Stories Of Everyday People Who

Went From Rags to Mega-Riches

New York, NY, February 25, 2010 -- TV Land announced today that it has picked up the popular reality series “How’d You Get So Rich?” starring the notoriously uncensored Joan Rivers for a second season, premiering on Wednesday, May 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. "How'd You Get So Rich?," a TV Land PRIME original series, returns this spring and will once again take viewers on a journey to meet mega-rich millionaires who worked hard and struck gold. As she tours the most lavish and extravagant homes, she introduces viewers to folks who made a lot of money in out of the ordinary, fascinating ways and asks all the questions no one else would – in the way only Joan can. “How’d You Get So Rich?” is a six-episode series from Mark Burnett Productions and Zoo Productions, Inc. Mark Burnett, Barry Poznick and John Stevens serve as executive producers.

“It’s so exciting for us to work with our friend, the incomparable Joan Rivers and bring ‘How’d You Get So Rich?’ back to TV Land,” states Larry W. Jones, president, TV Land. “Viewers were very inspired last season by the stories of these millionaires who went from rags to riches – some of whom were mowing lawns and are now collecting Bentleys! It is truly the American Dream, proving anyone can do it, and there is no one other than Joan who can do a better job of finding out how in the world these people got that rich!”

"I'm thrilled to be back on “How'd You Get So Rich?,” states Joan Rivers. “It's so much better than hosting ‘How’d You Get So Poor?’...and when I say ‘Rich,’ I mean RICH. People that Oprah will borrow money from. People that will use Dr. Ruth as a paperweight and people that when their computer breaks Bill Gates comes by to fix it."

Among the fascinating stories featured in the first season of "How'd You Get So Rich?" was Joan's visit to the home of the inventor of the BillyBob Teeth -- who grew up dirt poor and now owns the largest house in Illinois, a trip to the Versace mansion now owned by a telecommunications tycoon who once went door to door selling cordless phones and a visit to the 11,000 square foot Tampa Bay home owned by the father of the infomercial who made “Ginsu” a household name.

Hot in Cleveland has been picked-up and will premiee in June:

Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick, and Jane Leeves get “Hot In Cleveland” on TV Land this June

Betty White Will Be Recurring

Monday, March 1, 2010 -- TV Land announced today that it has greenlit 10 episodes of the original comedy sitcom “Hot in Cleveland,” starring a sensational veteran cast of Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves with Betty White in the pilot episode. “Hot in Cleveland” is written by Emmy Award-winning Suzanne Martin (“Frasier,” “Ellen”) and is produced by Emmy Award-winner Sean Hayes (“Will & Grace”) and Todd Milliner of Hazy Mills Productions. “Hot in Cleveland” is a TV Land PRIME original production and is the network’s first venture into scripted comedy series. The series is scheduled to air June 2010.

“We are thrilled that ‘Hot in Cleveland’ is TV Land’s first original sitcom,” states Larry W. Jones, president, TV Land. “The talented cast has amazing chemistry and delivers the clever script from a renowned sitcom writer with hilarity and sincerity. This show has enormous potential and we are so excited to be a part of it.”

“Hot in Cleveland” revolves around three fabulous, LA women of a certain age and best friends (Bertinelli, Leeves and Malick). Their lives are changed forever when their plane – headed for Paris – unexpectedly lands in Cleveland and they soon rediscover themselves in this new “promised land.” Loving their new home, the women find themselves living under one roof and battling the sassy caretaker of the property they have rented, played by Betty White.

You can watch a clip of Hot in Cleveland here:

Wow, this show is hysterical. Betty White was simply amazing in the short 2 minute clip I saw. The better make her a regular ASAP, as she could carry the entire show by herself and it would still be fantastic. I think TV Land may actually have something here.
