Default Whatever happened to Fahmy Malak, the medical examiner that screwed up every case?

Including the Henry and Ives one?

This guy has pretty much ****ed up on everyone he's handled. God knows how many cover ups he's been apart of. The kind of things he does are the things you see in comedy movies; I have a feeling he might just be batsh*t insane.

Henry & Ives: Without any evidence, claimed they smoked 20 marijuana cigarettes and then fell asleep on the tracks. A forensic psychologist also revealed that Malak had mutilated Kevin's skull by sawing it in so many different directions that it was impossible to tell where the original skull fractures were. Malak also had completely dismantled Kevin's jaw bones--what was he trying to hide? Also, a former employee discovered stab wounds but was told by Malak to "not worry about it."

Raymond Albright: Shot 5 times in the chest with a Colt .45 and Malak ruled it a suicide. Heh.

James "Dewey" Milam: A previously missing person that was found without a head, and Malak had the audacity to say that he died of an ulcer and that his dog bit his head off and then ate it fully. The head was later found.

Olivia Jane "Janey" Ward: Janie's lungs weighed nearly double than normal, and seemed to be filled with water; she had multiple critical injuries including a broken neck, broken nose, ribs, cheek, puncture wounds; yet Malak listed the cause of death as accidental death, resulting from a fall from a porch approximately 9 inches high. Informants have told investigators that Janie's death involved the daughter of the district judge with jurisdiction in Janie's case and a state trooper. Witnesses say they have been threatened. A ton of evidence was destroyed; forensic tests on her muddy jeans never came back from the lab, her clothes were taken and never found, and her X-Rays were replaced by some random guy's X-Rays that didn't show any signs of spinal cord injury. Probably one of the worst cover ups of all time, this case just disgusts me.

To add insult to injury, Clinton had the power to remove this anti-Christ from his job but he never did, and the Arkansas government basically backed up too. Here's some good articles on Malak:

Janey Ward's case. The state of Arkansas just refuses to reopen the investigation: (ABC did a nice documentary of it and showed the findings of the THIRD autopsy)

So is this madman still in work? I can't find anything on him after 1992, but I did find his page on Appointment Net ( and apparently he works in Florida now.

Jesus Christ.

I too have been searching to see whatever became of Malak. I think he might be deceased.

I know he did at one point continue to work in private practice in Florida, but I found this today:

Don't know if there's any truth to that or not, although I suppose he'd be about retirement age for a physician by now.

Long story short, he did continue his career as a medical doctor even after all those blatant mishandlings for at least some time. It's a shame.

If you're interested in this topic, I highly recommend this Frontline documentary on the country's shoddy death investigation system:
