That is the reason why, when I did go out dancing. I only danced with my friends, period!!! Or, I would dance by myself (I didn't care if I looked like a dope or not) I was having fun!

Me too! I was beginning to think I was the only one! When I was in college I went to school in a small East Texas town and they had this one dance club. I found out about it through some friends. I was under 21, so we were restricted from coming in until midnight on Friday and 1am on Saturdays. No big deal though. They were open till 4, so I would go out with a friend of mine to the movies and then go meet my friends at the club after midnight. We would dance all night. Alcohol wasn't allowed after the 18 + Year olds were let in (I was 20 at the time), so the bartender would give us free cups of ice water. I think I drank gallons. That is one of my favorite college memories, just dancing the night away! I even lost quite a bit of weight without really trying. What a bonus! I actually miss that because there aren't any clubs around here. I never noticed anything risque or raunchy, though. Just kids having a good time. But then again, this was back in the 80's and I know times have changed. That's sad.

I've never heard of dancing being required at weddings but then again I've never attended a wedding.

I have yet to DJ a wedding (and not sure if I want to, even though there is good money in it), but as a DJ I can tell you its a thrill to see people dance from the music you are spinning. If you get people dancing then you have done your job.

LOL, drinking I'm sure. I like punch, but I don't drink alcohol at all. I've never even drank a can of beer in my whole life, lol.
