-Everybody Loves Raymond Launch Marathon
Thursday, March 18, 2010 through Sunday, March 21, 2010
9pm-12am on Thursday & Friday and 9pm-1am on Saturday & Sunday
TV Land welcomes the hilarious Barone family to the network when the Emmy Award-winning sitcom “Everybody Loves Raymond” premieres on Thursday, March 18 with a four-day primetime event. The series then joins the schedule for a primetime block each weeknight starting at 9PM ET/PT. Viewers will fall in love all over again with the antics of Ray Barone’s entire family, from his over-bearing mother Marie and his wise-cracking father, Frank, to his wife Debra’s no-nonsense impatience with him and the incessant sibling rivalry between Ray and younger brother Robert.
The series will air regularly starting Monday, March 22, Mon-Sat in the 9pm hour and also in the 10pm hour Mon-Tues, Thurs, & Sat. Additional airings are 8-9pm on Wednesdays & Fridays; Saturdays from 11pm-1am.

I hope they keep Bewitched on WGN too. I'm glad it's on TVLAND too cuz I always have to miss the 2nd ep they show on WGN cuz it's on opposite Patty Duke on World Harvest. Why the schedule good stuff opposite each other, and other hrs there's nothing on, I dunno...

I know it's a little off topic as this is a March thread, but does anyone know if when "Everybody Loves Raymond" joins the schedule in April, do TBS and local affiliates lose their rights? I would hate if they did, since they air it in HD.

According to a promo last night Raymond is coming in MARCH, not April.

TBS and locals will not lose rights. Raymond will be on TV Land in primetime/nights only. And local affiliates are not cable, so they have nothing to do with this. TV Land does not have exclusive rights.

Interesting about the promo. Looks like TV Land March will change a bit then. I bet Raymond takes that 10pm hour from Roseanne and Roseanne only airs 2-4am. Or Raymond will start week of March 29, since TV Land has not released that week yet.

I would guess a show like "Everybody Loves Raymond" would be aired for at least 2 hours a week night. It wouldn't seem like TV Land would be getting their money's worth if they just aired it Mon/Tue/Thu at 10pm.

On that note, I'm surprised Home Improvement is only being aired 1 hour a day. Why not replace one of the Roseanne hours with it? And it seems like they would have at least moved TAGS 5pm hour to 4pm and cut one episode of Bonanza.

I'm still wondering how Home Improvement's doing. I've been enjoying it on TV Land lately. For Raymond, my guess is it replaces Roseane in early-mid March. Probably will get a launch marathon, then go to the 10pm hour Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. For Wednesday HI could air at 8pm, with Raymond at 9pm.

It wouldn't make sense with Andy Griffith losing afternoons already, but there is a possibility I guess that HI could take 8-9pm and Raymond 9-11pm, with BL leading out of that as scheduled.

Maybe move Sanford and Son to 6-7pm and Andy Griffith 7-8pm? It certainly doesn't fit with HI, Raymond, etc.

I think she was saying HI would go to 8pm on Wednesdays only with the originals at 10pm, otherwise the schedule will probably still be the same with Raymond taking over for Roseanne
