I could seriously live without cereal for the rest of my life.

YEP!!! If the prize in the box seemed cool, we talked Mom into buying the cereal ! Till she put her foot down and was like "You kids are just wanting the prize and than the cereal just sits here and gets stale"!!!!

But the prize never ended up being as cool as we thought it would be anyway! Right?

I like Golden Grahams. I also like Quaker oatmeal with raisins, dates & walnuts.

I used to like getting those assortments, particularly Kellogg's Variety pack and Jumbo Assortment. Wish they were still around.

I remember in the 1980's or was it maybe early 1990's that every once in awhile a small sample size box of cereal would come in the mail. That was cool.

Not always, some can be quite valuable. The 3-D baseball cards that Kelloggs issued for years are a good example. The 1971 set is of particular interest to collectors because it was the only one not available through a mail-in offer. You had to get them out of the boxes and do a lot of buying/trading to complete the 75-card set.

My favorite cereal is Rice Krispies because they taste so good and they are good to make Rice Krispies Treats and my second cereal of choice is Frosted Flakes because it is great and so nice. Sometimes my mother and I buy a box of Crispix and we share it together and I also love Frosted Mini Wheats as well

I like Frosted Mini Wheats too! I haven't had them in awhile! I didn't really eat them in a bowl with milk as cereal, just out of the box like a snack! Which is your favorite Mini Wheat flavor Bestie? I like them all, I guess strawberry would be my favorite though!

My favorite kind of Frosted Mini Wheats are the plain kind and I have always liked Frosted Mini Wheats because my mom would buy them for my great grandmother and me because Great Grandma and I loved them so much. My other favorite cereal that I liked a lot when I was little was Post Alpha-Bits but now it seems that Post Alpha-Bits are hard to find and not sold anywhere anymore
Did you like Post Alpha-Bits cereal too Bonnie?
