Default Obama: How low will he go?

The pic says it all. Yes, we have a blithering idiot for a President.

Madderest

You should've seen the look on my mom's face when this picture showed up on the news. I won't repeat what she said but I think the pic says it all (and I think they all look like refugees from the Starship Enterprise!):

Oh No

Don't wanna be an American Idiot, don't wanna be a nation under a new media.
And can you hear the sound of hysteria? The subliminal mind-**** America!

Sure, Green Day may be yelling at Bush, but this is more for EVERY American that's STILL on that "Yes We Can"! Drug!

No We Can't! Wait until 2010 when the House and Senate are Red again and 2012 will see a Moderate Republican back in the White House!

And the reigning Mr. Student of International Relations (unlike that cowboy GWB) blew this in another way. You don't shake hands with someone you're bowing to. So basically, there's nothing he did correctly here, except be an idiot. He clearly knows how to do that.

I dunno, I've heard some conservatives say that moderate Republicans aren't the best deal for the Republican party, but let's see...

Can I get a refund on Yeswecan?? I think that might be the generic name for Zyklon-B. Do not use while driving or operating heavy machinery.

You're right, McCain is the ultimate moderate Republican, and he got shellacked...the only thing that kept it as close as it was was Sarah Palin. If McCain would have selected Pawlenty or some other guy, forget it... He might have won Arizona, but that's about it

Bob Dole was also a moderate Republican. Bush 43 actually turned out to be moderate on a couple of domestic issues, but he was a conservative when it came to national defense, which was the key issue after 9/11. Bush ran as a conservative in 2000. Bush 41 was from the moderate wing of the GOP, thank God Dukakis ran in 1988.

I thought there were some countries in Asia and Middle East you have to bow to the leader of that country?

I thought in Japan you have to bow to the leader of that country or is that just the emperor?

Fact Check

Did he bow too far?

You can check out some other world leaders greeting the emperor here

Even a bunch of Japanese newspapers didn't publish the pic of Obama because even they were embarrassed by his actions.

Mona Charen has a column here that explains some things about what happened:

"...When it comes to body language, it's best to stick to your own culture and traditions. A too-eager attempt to ingratiate by adopting others' customs can backfire.

According to one Asian expert consulted by ABC's Jake Tapper, Obama's low bow caused considerable consternation in Japan. Apparently, a proper Japanese bow under the circumstances would have been executed with hands at the sides, and a slight tilt from the waist. "The bow as he performed it did not just display weakness in Red State terms, but evoked weakness in Japanese terms ...The last thing the Japanese want or need is a weak-looking American president and, again, in all ways, he unintentionally played that part...." <END OF EXCERPT>

So again, Obama screwed up this simple act by not only bending over way too much, but by shaking hands at the same time.

The only thing wrong with Tapper's analysis was that Obama's making America look weak was not unintentional.

Sometime this evening (Monday) I thought I heard that Michelle Malkin has a column explaining all about the proper protocols involved in this situation... I can't find the column, it's possible that either they were referring to Charen's column by mistake, or that Malkin's column is not yet posted at this writing.
