On the episode Lucy & Lawrence Welk, the storyline evolves around Vivian being near-sighted, and she needs to wear glasses, and yet the next episode, Lucy & Viv Visit Tijuana Viv has no glasses and theres no mention of her eyesight. I guess were to assume she got contacts.
Also, inLucy & Viv visit Tijuana Viv tells the customs officer she's from New York, but in Lucy The Matchmaker, from season 1, Viv is visiting from Albequerque. And--in Lucy The Matchmaker, Lucy introduces Viv to Kim and Craig for the first time, and they call her Miss Jones. But when she comes back in the second season, she's Aunt Viv, as if they've always known her. Like The Golden Girls, Here's Lucy didn't pay much attention to continuity. |

Yeah, I never understood why every time Vivian did a guest appearance on "Here's Lucy" she was a different "Viv". I guess the writers considered the character flexible enough to fit into whatever story they were writing.
