50s: I Love Lucy, Dragnet, Leave It To Beaver

60s: I Dream of Jeannie (check out the signature line), That Girl, My Three Sons, Gilligans Island, Bewitched (then, though I don't care as much for it as an adult), Andy Griffith Show, Monkees, Adam-12

70s: Emergency (I know this isn't a sitcom), Partridge Family, The Bob Newhart Show (check out my avatar), Mork and Mindy (late 70s-early 80s), Brady Bunch

80s: I lost interest in TV in the 80s. I still have a hard time getting interested in any of the new shows, choosing to watch old stuff on networks or on DVDs.

I'm just listing my favorites from the 1960's-80's because I never really saw any sitcoms from th 1950's, plus anything that debuted in 1990 or later wasn't great. Note: I'm categorizing according to debut dates, less confusion for me.
