Post Scott Baio and Diagnosis Murder

Does anyone know why Scott Baio left Diagnosis Murder in 1995? Just wondering.

Thanks.

I don't think he liked the grind of a hour long drama since he had been so used to doing sitcoms. He liked the cast, there were no creative differences. I think they mentioned that in the E! Celebrity Profile on him or I read it somewhere..
