The other night I saw a different side of Richard while watching Family Feud on GSN. After welcoming the families, he immediately brought up his outrage over a judge's remarks and a case involving a woman hitch-hiking. Did anyone else see this or know which judge he referred to? It definitely caught my attention as it was an unusual to start the feud. He returned to the game by saying, "I'll step down from my soapbox now". |

Richard was just certain ways about certain things (See: His leaving MG and banning the FF director from the set)

Missed that one. Dawson got on a soapbox a lot. I remember reading that he used to say things about certain political people and such, and the FF people told him to stop it. He threatened to quit and they backed off.
Also watch any time he doesn't agree with a judge's ruling during game play. One time on MG, he refused to play because he disagreed with the judge. But usually he's right, so I see no problem with it. He's a smart guy. [This message has been edited by dawsongirl (edited 08-04-2001).] |
