Guiding Light Last Episode (9-18-09) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

What did everyone think about the last episode of Guiding Light aired on Friday (September 18) 2009?

I thought it was okay. In my opinion, it was kind of predictable. Everyone knew that Reva was going to go away with Josh. They should have had more of the former cast members on there. They also should have played some of the old radio broadcasts in the background so they could pay respect to the original roots of the show.

It was good, it wasnt great. Nice to see everybody got a happy ending, and nice to see Jay Hammer (Fletcher Reade) in the last episode. They didnt rap up the Jeffery vs. Edmond thing so what happend there??? Would have liked to see a few more mentions and apperances of past characters, but they only had an hour. Kinda sad that the show is gone after 72 years, and its going to be weird to turn over at 3:00 and not see GL.

I thought the episode was ok. The Jeffrey vs. Edmund thing should have been wrapped up. I like that Reva and Josh simply left together. I agree they should have played radio broadcasts and clips from past years.
