Any news of any future plans for "Pinky and the Brain?" It airs on Nichalodeon, sometimes on Saturdays, but every night at 5:45am-6am... I am tired of seeing the 15 minute cut version, I'd like to see the full version, it used to air in a full version on Nichalodeon before they replaced it..

Why did they mess around with the opening.

I liked it when it was on Kids WB! I don't like it on Nick because they messed around with the opening theme adding the Nick logo practically everywhere.

No, it is not a seperate cartoon, it's a re-edited rerun from the WB.. if you look at the credit's it says stuff like "Copyright 1997 Warner Brothers Television" by no means is this a nichalodeon produced cartoon.
I heard something about it going to Cartoon Network soon, I hope, maybe they won't re-edit it and fool around with the opening, trust me, I know what I am talking about... and no it doesn't air on Nick TV at 6pm anymore, it's only on Saturdays at 5pm now and everyday at 4:45am, a re-edited version.. |

Personally, I find the classic (that is, 1930-1969, or more to the point 1930-1960) theatrical Warner Bros.cartoons a heck of a lot funnier than ANYTHING they did since Tiny Toon Adventures reared its head back in 1990 even though all of these newer shows did have thie r occasional funny moments (the singing Roches oN TTA, the Ben Stein appearances on the other shows0>
Persoanlly I feel the exeuctives at Kids WB! did to these cartoons (Pinky and the brain, etc.) execatly what Mary Harrington and Geraldine Laybourne at Nick did to SPumco and the other studio, the one that did Invader Zim..dumbing it sdown, even before Elmyra came on the scene.<g> |
