Default DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT EPISODES THESE 'UNKNOWN UNIDENTIFIED PEOPLE' appeared after???

- The unknown Grateful Dead Fan killed in accident in 1995
- The unknown Huntington Beach girl killed crossing the street in 1990
- The unknown murdered couple (Jacques, or possibly brother-sister) killed in Sumter County 1976

- The girl who commited suicide off a cliff in LA in 1987 (Cabbie dropped her off as far as her 12 dollars took her).

I have all of these on one of my 6 tapes somewhere but can't remember the episodes they appeared on/during/after?

Any help?

Well I'm not positive about this but I have an NBC episode and the airdate listed as 1/20/95. It has a segment on it titled "The Investigators". Not positive but I think thats where the lady who took a cab and then jumped off the cliff was and the murdered couple from SC were profiled. I'm not sure when the unidentified Grateful Dead fan aired but I do remember that Keely Shaye Smith did that one and it was just a quick alert if that helps.

The Huntington Beach girl killed crossing the street doesn't ring a bell. Can you give some more details?

Okay thanks spark19. I remember it now. It may be on that same "Investigators" segment, not sure. I remember they profiled a few on there and I remember one unidentified body being identified thanks to his belt buckle.

What was this 'investigators' segment about, what was the case?

Hmm not sure but that sounds familiar. I remember one case on there of a John Doe from Alaska I think being identified by his belt buckle. Apparently it was something he won at his job if I remember correctly.

Okay I just rewatched it. Robert Stack calls them "unheralded heroes of law enforcement". Its profiling the investigators of the coroner's office who identify John and Jane Doe's and how they died. They talk about a young boy found floating in a channel. He was found to have accidentally drown but no one knew his identity. They did find a boy in a nearby town went missing. Apparently he went swimming and got stuck in the flood channel and was swept 16 miles into the ocean. Blood tests confirmed it was him. The second case was of an unidentified murder victim. He was wearing a belt buckle with the name of a drill bit company from Alaska. Apparently that belt buckle was given to the employee of the year only for about 5 years so they identified him through that. Then they show the story of the girl who was found dead at the bottom of the cliff at Dana Point. At the end they mention 3 still unidentified John and Jane Doe's and there are the woman struck and killed by a car in the Pacific Coast Highway and the couple murdered in South Carolina.
