Unhappy Connie Needham

Are any of you aware that Connie Needham is battling Ovarian
Cancer and is being supported in her fight by former Eight Is
Enough cast members?

My heart and prayers are with Connie and her family at this time.

That's very sad news. I always liked her and thought she was a really good actress. Very cute too!

Best wishes to her for a full and speedy recovery!

Apparently Connie retired from acting at some point and became an instructor at a dance academy in California. Here are some recent photos:

She looks great! I take it she's still married to Hal Needham?

Married 30 years with two daughters. Isn't that great? Actually, her husband's name is David Needham, who is the son of Hal Needham.

Ack! Well, at least I got the last name right! lol

Yeah, that's a long marriage for any sector, let alone the Hollywood one. Though the fact that she retired from acting long ago probably is a factor too. Less pressure and temptation, etc.

True, but look what happened to Willie Aames. Even though he was out of the spotlight for a long time, his own 20+ year marriage recently ended and he fell off the wagon. So I give Connie and her hubby extra props for sticking it out all these years.
