Default Wisdom Teeth

I'm getting two wisdom teeth out tommorrow. One has grown out, and the other hasn't. Can anyone tell me what to expect?

I had my wisdom teeth out, plus two separate jaw surgeries. You will definitely swell up and you'll have to eat soft foods for a few days. I found ice cream or frozen yogurt helps a lot. I don't remember being in much pain though, but everybody is different. Good luck

I had all 4 of mine taken out at once, and was more groggy and nauseous than in pain. But since you're only having 2 taken out, it probably won't feel as bad. Just try to get as much rest as you can and get used to a soft food diet!!

I was born without wisdom teeth so I have never had extraction experience. But all the people who I know who have had their wisdom teeth extracted had different experiences. Some swelled up and others didn't as much. One of my friends was able to eat solid foods after two days. Some people have a high tolerance for pain and some don't.

I haven't gotten mine pulled, and don't plan to. lol. Only one of them has grown in (just the tip of it though), so I don't think I'll ever get them out.
A lot of my friends have gotten theirs removed though. After the extraction all depends on the person. A friend of mine just had hers removed a month ago and she was swollen for a day, but was completely fine 24 hours later-no pain, no nothing.
Just be prepared to eat a lot of liquids and frozen drinks. Jamba Juice!
Good luck! Hope all goes well!

Hope your surgery goes well. I don't have fond memories of mine, but I don't want to post any of the details since you haven't had your surgery yet. I don't remember being in too much pain, though.

They sure knocked me out!! I had all of mine taken out at once, too. I was so groggy and nauseous - but never really in pain, if that makes any sense.
