I recently returned to watching this show again for the first time in about 12-15 years, my favorite segments were always the UFO ones. Anyways, im very confused about exactly whats going on with revealed memories brought on by hypnosis.
Recently I saw a episode of the documentary "penn and tellers bull****" and they basically said those undergoing regressive hypnosis beleived something odd happened to them, but all the hypnosis was doing was putting ideas about general alien abduction (probes, green men) into their heads. It also explained through time, peoples impression of aliens changes based on the popular culture image of them at the time. So, are these hypnotists really implanting ideas in confused peoples heads? How the **** can anyone prove that this type of hypnotism is real? The UFO segments scared me alot more when i was younger, before i knew about this stuff. I want to be scared again!!! Any information will be much appreaciated. Thanks and Peace. |

Does anyone have any information about regressive hypnotism? Something that can prove if it is or is not real?
Has anyone gone under regressive hypnotism? Has anyone been hypnotized at all for that matter? What happened? |

Well, I once attended some hypnosis show with an ex-girlfriend and she was one of many people selected from the audience to go on stage to be hypnotized. The hypnotist made her cluck like a chicken, bark like a dog and booty dance among other things. I asked her about it later and she claimed to have no memory whatsoever of the experience.
