I was just thinking about Liz Taylor. They were like besties and she hasn't been doing good herself these past couple of years. She is probably going to die of a broken heart when she hears this news.

CNN has been reporting on it for at least 20 minutes now. Once I got online and saw that Farrah died, I turned to CNN to see if they were talking about it, but they were already talking about MJ, which pretty much made my jaw drop out of shock.

There you go. It's just funny how they say these things come in threes. Ed McMahon was first, Farrah was second . . . someone had to be third. How shocking is it, though, that it had to be Michael Jackson?

Unhappy

I got home from work and my mom asked if I'd heard the news. Yes, I heard about Farrah, I said. Then she asked, did you hear about Michael Jackson? WHAT???? I came home just as the national news came on and they confirmed it.

WOW. What a sad end to what was such a bright and promising prodigy. I hope you are at peace and rest, Michael.

for whatever faults or alleged misdeeds, he deserves credit and respect for his talent. i'm not a major fan myself but no matter what he was or did, his talent can't be taken away from him and he made an everlasting impact on pop culture, americana and paved the way for modern music as we know it

cnn just played a clip from the thriller video with him dancing as a corpse or zombie, does anyone else think thats tacky? i know it was a major hit but the visuals of that music video at this time seems morbid
