Thanks for thinking of me with my upcoming SSI case. It means a lot. I guess it makes no sense to stress about it, since I have no control over it. Just let it take its course.

Even though the day has been so sad and surreal, I have enjoyed listening to people's memories about the two huge American icons who passed away today. It's nice to see clips of the good times, and view these events through a different perspective. To me, it's cleansing.

I had a very nice online chat with Jonathan today I enjoyed it very much and got really into our conversation. Unfortunately it was disrupted twice but I hope to do it again soon and have a much more lengthy chat with you.

Good luck Janice, I'll be praying for you! I hope everything works out in your favor.

Isn't he a sweetie? He's wise beyond his years. Respectful, has goals in life, treats his Mom like a Queen. He'll make some lucky gal, maybe even the one he's with now, a nice spouse one day.

Thanks. It's not so much the check, because nobody gets rich off those. It's other services and things that I'll be eligible for, should I be deemed disabled. God forbid, should I find myself alone, they have assistants that do your shopping, cleaning, errands, that sort of thing. We own our home, but you never know; I'll be eligible for housing. My uncle lives in a beautiful apartment complex, that's for the elderly and disabled.

I just spent an hour chatting with my cousin on facebook! It's been so long since we've kept in touch. We didn't have a falling out or anything, just that she moved away and I moved away and somehow we managed to lose contact. We were so close as little kids and teenagers, it was amazing to talk with her again...felt just like old times. I love facebook. I seriously want to cry tears of joy because I feel like my best friend is back in my life. I've missed her so much!
