The CW needs help.

That about sums it up... Dawn sucks and I have no idea how she still has a job.

This schedule actually sounds great - I wouldn't change a thing. I like Fridays, with One Tree Hill and Priviledged. That deserves a shot.

But really, does anyone care anymore? The only hit they have left is Top Model. I wouldn't be surprised to see The CW take after NBC and start airing Top Model 2 hours on Wednesdays

You hit the nail on the head about the CW. If it weren't for Thursdays, it would mostly be the same thing night after night. The WB had variety. A little bit of something for everyone. CW is following in UPN's footsteps and becoming a one way, dead end street. Not surprising, since the lady running the CW ran UPN. *SIGH* They are not going to raise ratings when they keep making the same kinds of shows for one kind of audience. When they get something different, there won't be much compatibility if they don't have other kinds of stuff like it. Smallville and Supernatural are the top scripted shows for the season. Not Gossip Girl. Not 90210. Not One Tree Hill. They should of kept Reaper and paired it with Vampire Diaries.

Monday -
Gossip Girl
One Tree Hill(I don't see them breaking this up if "Lily" won't be on)

Tuesday -
90210
Melrose Place

Wednesday -
America's Next Top Model
Vampire Diaries

Thursday -
Smallville
Supernatural

Friday -
Privileged
The Game

Reaper and Vampire Diaries would of been a good pair. VD should be paired with something that has certain horror-ish/fantasy themes, but there isn't anything for it to be with. See?. Right back to my point. The CW needs more variety. How much longer can this Ostroff woman keep her job?.

It's hard to know what even qualifies as a hit on the CW. Smallville and Supernatural are their best shows and they are probably entering their final seasons. I think once they leave that the CW will just fold. The WB was a great network. Although they appealed to a younger audience, they had shows that anyone could really watch.

Why not just fold The CW and return The WB?

The CW was an experiment that failed. It isn't working, and it never will. The WB, meanwhile, had double the ratings The CW had, and was a much stronger and stable network. Why they ever folded it in the first place is beyond me. We need family shows, and not these teen dramas.

What difference would it make changing the name to The WB? That essentially all that it would do.

If they could bring back the familiarity of The WB, viewers would respond.

They'd have to fire Dawn Ostroff first.

I'd bet sometime next year we'll see The CW (and ION) fold with NBC in serious troubles.

Is Smallville EVER going to end? It seems like it keeps going and going.
