Really good books. I was surprised there was no third continuation of the series itself. It made me want to continue the story more, but that's just me. I know there were at least three Joanie Loves Chachi books made, but I was surprised to know that there was only two CIC Scholastic books.

I've got both the "Charles in Charge" and "Charles in Charge Again" books and thoroughly enjoyed reading them. Great job of capturing the main episodes the books are based on as well as fleshing them out with further happenings. It's also interesting to read about Charles' and Buddy's first meeting in the first book and seeing them in class together, which it seems like that was almost never seen on the series. These are definitely great reads for a great show.
