WOW, The Nanny gets the 11pm slot!

I was wrong, Home Improvement wasn't reduced, was right about Fresh Prince and Roseanne though(and Cosby's 2 measley timeslots being gone). Thank God those 3 hour blocks of FP are gone. FM sure moved around a lot, only the 6am timeslot remains the same.

Oh look, ANOTHER George Lopez marathon.

Oh and I've changed my mind, the promos have me interested, I'm going to try The Nanny.

This schedule is built around to back-up The Nanny if it falters.

They can easily have The Nanny and Family Matters switch slots. Look at this:

Mon-Thurs, Effective Monday, May 11
11:00pm The Nanny (replaces Family Matters)
11:30pm The Nanny (replaces Family Matters)
12:00am Family Matters (replaces Home Improvement)
12:30am Family Matters (replaces Home Improvement)
- FM could go back to 11, with Nanny at 12.

Fridays, Effective Friday, May 15
12:00am The Nanny (replaces Family Matters)
12:30am The Nanny (replaces Family Matters)
2:00am Family Matters (replaces Home Improvement)
2:30am Family Matters (replaces Home Improvement)
- FM could go back to 12, with Nanny at 2.

Saturdays, Effective Saturday, May 16
12:00am The Nanny (replaces Family Matters)
12:30am The Nanny (replaces Family Matters)
1:00am Family Matters (replaces Home Improvement)
1:30am Family Matters (replaces Home Improvement)
3:00am The Nanny (replaces Family Matters)
3:30am The Nanny (replaces Family Matters)
4:00am Family Matters (replaces Rosanne)
4:30am Family Matters (replaces Rosanne)
- FM could go back to 12, with Nanny at 1. And then again FM could go back to 3, with Nanny at 4.

Sundays, Effective Sunday, May 17
11:00pm The Nanny (replaces Family Matters)
11:30pm The Nanny (replaces Family Matters)
12:00am Family Matters (replaces Home Improvement)
12:30am Family Matters (replaces Home Improvement)
2:00am The Nanny (replaces Family Matters)
2:30am The Nanny (replaces Family Matters)
3:00am Family Matters
3:30am Family Matters
- FM can go back to 11 with Nanny at 12. And late night FM can go back to 2 with Nanny at 3.

I knew we'd be in for a change. And this one is quite unpredictable, and for that I congratulate NAN, because they are definitely far from unpredictable.

Airing The Nanny inbetween GLo and Family Matters is probably a good idea for now, to get it off its feet. The only problem is, will the FM audience follow it over to midnight? It just doesn't seem like a midnight kind of show to me, so it might not work like that.

If The Nanny does take off, I predict it will eventually move into 9pm, putting Family Matters back at 11pm, because this schedule doesn't seem like it'll be too permanent. But, if it doesn't take off, they can just move Family Matters back to 11pm, and either move The Nanny to midnight or just cut back on it.

Overall, though, I really like this schedule. I'd like to see this sked last into summer, so I'll be able to watch The Nanny at 11:30 once Leno is gone. And FM at 12am also gives me something to watch then. A very nice schedule!

It's kind of sad to see Fresh Prince reduced so much, isn't it? . . .

I'm really hoping the The Nanny works. It really gives the schedule a lot more variety. And if it does work out, we may not have to see Everybody Hates Chris much.

Not another George Lopez Marathon! That's Nick at nite's new Fresh prince. I'd rather it be Fresh prince marathons than George Lopez. I'll only catch an episode if there's absolutely nothing else on tv. Stinks that Full House is off the lineup and The Cosby Show will be soon. But at least The Nanny'll be on tv again

Glad to see Roseanne reduced but I also wanted to see HI reduced. And not Happy about the Cosby Show on Sunday nights being removed.

And wouldn't it be smart to gradually work the Nanny into the lineup instead of having 4 airings and don't even know if N@N will like the show. Too many airings for a new show.

I would do a 2X of Roseanne from 5-6AM weekdays then have Family Matters at 6AM since it already airs earlier and at a better time slot. JMO.
Roseanne and The Nanny would be a nice two hour block.

I agree - that would make a nice 2-hour block.

I just bought the season 3 DVD last week - the DVD itself is one of the cheapest products I've ever owned, but it was nice to see those episodes again. It'll be great watching it again on NAN.

Ya know, I can't believe how many people are here. And the topic is TV shows. Yes, I come to see what I'm going to see for an hour on Nick at Nite. But gosh, doesn't anyone read anymore?
