My boyfriend and I did when we were driving back from London a couple of months ago. I liked the idea of giving another motorist a pleasant surprise.
In one of Doreen Virtue's books she talked about how her grandfather would sometimes pay the toll fair for three or four cars behind him. I imagine it doesn't get done a whole lot but it's something I'd do occasionally.

I've never heard of it--but what a sweet idea!

I read about people doing this in random acts of kindness book. I think it is a very sweet thing to do.

I have. Once when I was driving across the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan the car in front of me paid for me. So, the next time I went across I paid for whoever was behind me.
Pass it along! |

I've heard of it, but have never done it (course, our tolls aren't the same as they are in the U.S.).
I have bought someone behind me a coffee at a drive thru before though and that was fun to do. ![]()
