Me too except for a stray ep on Nick At Night maybe 10 yrs ago. I was in 10th grade when the show came out & have had such nostalgic yearnings for it. It was pretty much at the top of my wish list and now here it is! (YAY!!!!!)

I've never seen the show before and watched the first two episodes tonight. So far I liked what I saw. I think I'm going to enjoy this set.
There's something about the theme song that I really like. Itseems to have a nostalgic kind of 60's/70's soft feel to it.

I really like the theme song too. Although it changes in later seasons (and not for the better IMHO).

I was only 4 when it came on but I remember watching it with my Mom in the early 70's. I know USA aired it in the 1980's and I saw a few episodes then.

I just reserved a copy from the library. It should be interesting to see because I loved Michael Constantine in Greek Wedding. He is also a fantastic dramatic actor, as proven in episodes of Law & Order and Streets of San Francisco. I'll post my thoughts here once I see it!!

He was really great in this too Monika. Glad you put a reserve out for it right away. I've waited so long for this to come out that I bought it on Mar 24, its release date to the stores. And I'm just eating it up!!!

The episodes were not restored so the picture quality is soft and fuzzy, the colors look a little faded. The sound level seems to be pretty good. But the main thing is the episodes are uncut. That is what makes this set worth buying, the uncut episodes. I don't mind that the episodes are not restored, it actually makes for a nice nostalgic atmosphere when viewing the episodes. This show is more of a drama than a comedy, a little bit different type of show but the stories and acting are good. I want to have season 2 also, hopefully Shout Factory will issue it.

Shout Factory, God Bless em, did a nice job with this release. It's not perfect, but no set ever is. Like they could have gone a little further in the Bonus area. But the eps are nice, uncut as they last almost 25 min and best of all....they released them!! I've waited so long for this to come out! I bet SHOUT will do more Seasons. May take a while. I'm going to email, write or call Shout! to let them know how much I appreciate them releasing this series and how much JOY I'm getting from this set.

Rich, I just got it from the library and am starting Episode 1. I look forward to watching what seems to be a quality program.
