I was 13 when I first came here, and now I'm almost 20. So yeah, I'm quite different. I used to like to cause trouble back on SO back in the day lolz, but I'm less annoying than I used to be. As a person I'm a little more confident and am able to do a lot of things in life I wasn't able to do back when I was facing anxiety and all of that good stuff for the first time. I'm also a lot less ugly and my nose grew into my face, so that's good. To mirror what JOSEPH said, I basically grew up here.

I haven't changed a bit.

I'm still wonderful.

I started out as an adult, so I've pretty much remained the same. It has been fun and interesting to watch the young members grow up right before our eyes. Sometimes, as a moderator, I'd lose sight of the fact that I was dealing with young people. I hope you don't mind me telling this, Ashlee. I was PMing you about something you were doing on the boards. It was nothing serious, as you were never a lot of trouble. Anyway, we were going back and forth, and you said (or wrote) something that I'll never forget. You said, and I'm paraphrasing here, "I'll try my best, but I'm only 16."

At that point, I realized that I was being too hard on you, for your age. You were right. You were only 16, and people that age mess up or whatever. I mean, 16 isn't 32. You never knew it Ashlee, but that day, you taught me a valuable lesson with those three words. I'm only 16. I tried to have more patience with the younger members after that.

No, I don't mind. Wow, I don't even remember that. I had no idea I had that much of an impact with those words.

But oh yeah, I caused trouble along with other kids my age on the boards. It happens. Kids come to message boards and think...weee, nobody can see me, let's have fun and wreck havoc. After a certain point you take it more seriously. I guess a lot of the adults on the board never got to experience that, so it's a bit different for them.

I remember when I first joined, I was real shy. I guess I'm not that way anymore. I remember I didn't even tell anyone my real age for a full year because their were so many young people on the board and I was one of the older ones. I felt out of place. But I came to make many friends on here and in time I became more comfortable. Thanks everyone for making feel right at home.

oh dear, i was 11 when i first starting coming here and i'm 19 now, so quite a bit. i guess i was a lot more innocent and non-ruined at first. now i'm all morbid and screwed up in the head over things that have happened since then, though i've grown from them. in the meantime i went through a period of dealing with the bad events in my life by flooding my posts with negative energy and bizarre jokes about death and the like, not to mention how fiesty i got when i had a problem with another member. sometimes i look at fights from around 2004 and even though i don't think i was in the wrong, i just think "geez, i didn't need to be so vicious", lol. if i have a problem with a member now i keep it subtle and lay off the personal attacks.

i think i was a lot more creative when i was 14/15 than i am now though, and it's kind of depressing. i wouldn't be able to come up with anything like this nowadays.

oh, and i used to capitalize beginnings of sentences. then my OCD got in the way and it's much easier on me to make everything lowercase.

i think i am shrinking.

i look up to joe a lot more often now (unrelated to the shrinking).

i think that Midol is finally starting to kick in.

i enjoy corned beef and swiss cheese sandwiches even more than i did back then.

my cat has a lot less interest in the goings on here.

I don't remember you guys ever causing any trouble but then again, I have been a sporadic poster at times so maybe I just missed it.

oh gosh, ive changed oh so much. i first came on her in 2003 and was 15. i was shy, homeschooled, had no contact with the outside world, except for one friend that i had known 2 years by that time. my dad basically didn't allow me to have friends so all i could do was be online. ive gone through oh so many phases and such since then and now. im now 20, almost 21 and have been living on my own for over 2 years now about 150 miles from my parents and have made a new life for myself. looking back at the religious nut my family made me (and proof of how i reacted here on the forums lol), i cant believe im the person i am today. ive grown up and changed ALOT.
