Doc: Don't worry! As long as you hit that wire with the connecting hook at precisely 88 miles per hour, the instant the lightning strikes the tower, everything will be fine!

Gene Rodenberry, the creator of "STAR TREK" came up with the word "phaser" as a variation of the word "laser".
He came up with the transporter because he couldn't think of a way to land the Enterprise.
The original actor to play the captain, Jeffery Hunter, was replaced because his fiancee was also his agent, and she kept making all these ridiclous demands like "Oh, my Jeff can only be filmed in such-and-such lighting, and only at such-and-such an angle" etc. The producers said "Christ, if we have to work with this guy, we'll go nuts"!!! So they replaced him.

Tomorrow is April Fools Day. It was on that day in 1984 that Marvin Gaye was shot and killed by his father. It was one day before Gaye's 45th birthday.

Berry Gordy wrote the song "Do You Love Me" for the Temptations, but nobody could find them anywhere(they were at a gospel show at a local church), so Gordy gave the song to the Contours.

The original Michael Myers mask was a modified Captan Kirk (William Shatner) mask.

The hair was teased, sideburns cut off, eyes made wider, and spray-painted white.
