Default Did the cast members ever do anything ever again?

I mean being in anything major and I don't think they were. Even Sherman never didn't anything significant after this. I know Anna Marie Horsford or whatever was in a guest episode of the Fresh Prince.

Sherman had a full career so he doesn't need it. This show was ok but nowhere NEAR as good as the Jeffersons.

Default Two Others Had Moved On as Well.

Didn't the one who played Thelma go on to star as Ice Cube's mom in the Friday movies?

Tony T. Johnson who was the nosey little boy Chris that lived next door on the show and always came over to make a smirky comment or to ask a nosey question and was picked up by an adult and shown the door; He also went on to appear in a sci-fi film The Arrival 1 and a horror film, Shadow Zone 1, as well as three other films into his teen years.

Roz Ryan went on the do the sitcom similar to this one, Good News.

She later costarred with John Amos and Anthony Anderson in the sitcom, All About the Andersons. She also have been in films and has three forthcoming ones in production.

Well Clifton made a lot of guest spots on other shows such as:

Party of five
In the House
Half and Half

there are others shows. He also did a lot of hosting for "Praise the Lord" on TBN.

I also saw him on a S1 episode of The Jamie Foxx Show, too.

Sherman Hemsley did the voice of Mr. Richfield on "The Dinosaurs" for ABC, just shortly after "Amen" ended production. As well as have a short-lived sitcom on the former UPN network called "Goode Behavior" w/ Dorien Wilson (later known as Prof. Ogelsby on another UPN series "The Parkers.")

And also teamed up w/ his former Jeffersons co-star Marla Gibbs for a TV One Marathon of "227" and "Amen."

Bumper Robinson (who appeared on the final season of this show), if you wanna count him in, of course continued to appear on many TV shows before "Amen" started and long after "Amen" ended.

Wow, that is pretty amazing. How does a minister have time to take off to do a TV show for several years?? LOL!
