I wish I could be confident and brave enough to do it, but I'm not, and so I don't smoke weed or keep any near me.

I don't see why many people won't be interested in changing the law.

One time I went to Washington D.C. and there was some rally going on and people were smoking marijuana on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial as part of the protest. It was a lot of people and a lot of weed. You could smell it blocks away. No arrests were made.

Hmm, well, like I said, I'm not well-versed on the subject, so I believe you.

It's just that a lot of the people that I know who smoke weed or have smoked weed say that it's okay for them to smoke it because it really shouldn't be illegal.

Actually though, in a sense that's another way of getting a law changed. The more people who are open that they "do it" and that no harm is being done, then laws sometimes get changed or decriminalized. Had women sat back and done nothing about getting the vote, then we'd still be baking bread while the guys were out voting in who controlled us. Look at how widely now hemp is being praised and used in industry. I just bought a few new tops that were made from hemp and they're so soft and comfortable. They also wash better than cotton and are more environmentally friendly.

My point is though, that change comes through education and speaking up. It's not as though people are shoving joints into people's mouths at these rallys - they're actually showing that a large group of people can come together, get high and no one gets hurt. You put that many people together who've had a few drinks and let me know what happens.

I totally agree! People should make the changes that lead to progress. It's the only way we can really move ahead and fix the things that are wrong with society.

We all are - but we might as well sit back and have a puff while we're waiting, cuz it'll be a while. Unless it's equally as "funny" like one of his church group links.

Where else would one go to find information about marijuana?

A library is defined by Dictionary.com as "a collection of any materials for study." The presence of marijuana in front of library implies that it is an adjective, modifying the latter noun, thus meaning that the "collection of any materials for study," with marijuana in front of it, means that it is a collection of any materials for studying marijuana.

Why is it "funny" that we would use a collection of any materials for studying marijuana to emphasize our point in a discussion about marijuana?

And I love how you decided to ignore the facts pointed out to you in favor of picking on one small irrelevant detail. It must be contagious, because you remind me of someone else.
