June was my favorite female, but I did like Julie Foster best when it came to Wally dating.

First has to be Mary Ellen Rogers, a.k.a. Pamela Beaird. As the 50's typical teen she was the absolute best. Nobody can touch her. Unfortunately, there's nothing about her anywhere.
Second Miss Canfield, a.k.a. Diane Brewster. Later known as Samantha Crawford in the Maverick series. She was also very beautiful. |

As old as I am, I really can't see real attraction for fickle teenagers like Mary Ellen and Julie... although I used to; Julie especially. I remember I was kept from liking Alma Hansen because of her parents-- no way would I have wanted involvement with a girl through whom her mother tries to live her own discontented life.
Even though I'm really too old now for Miss Landers and Miss Canfield, they would be A and B. My girlfriend, incidentally, actually looks like Miss Landers and is a 4th grade teacher. June?... well, I suppose we're not supposed to consider this in regard to their state on the show... but she's alright! Just too worrisome and not clued in on what goes on among boys. Still, it's not that easy to stop thinking of her as the mother you wished you had, even when you're older now than the character, who doesn't age. Mrs. Rayburn and Mrs. Mondello... are you serious?? |

Mrs. Rayburn was so strict. I think all the students would be afraid to cross her.

Miss Landers. I wish all teachers were as understanding and supportive as her.
