"... Maybe they'll even have a calorie tax or a grams-of-fat tax... " - Rush Limbaugh, December 9, 1994, correctly predicting the fat tax.

When Rush jokes about the way liberals think and govern, it usually ends up happening.

Who else predicted a tax on fat and calories? No one. Rush was the first and only one to call it correctly. He needs to stop giving them ideas.

But who else but a Democrat would come up with a tax like that?

If we're lucky, the MSM might report facts after they happen. Rush reports the facts years before they happen.

When you said "You ignorant scum" it made me think of the immortal SNL quote - "Jane, you ignorant slut!!"

Weekend update April 22, 1978:

Dan Aykroyd: Tonight on "Point/Counterpoint", Jane and I will argue Federal Aid for Abortions. Jane will take the Point for Federal Aid, and I will take the Counterpoint against. Jane?

Jane Curtin: Safe abortions have always been available to the rich, Dan. You simply want to deny them to the poor, and if you succeed, poor woman will be forced to get them anyway. They'll be forced into the alleys with hangers, plungers and vacuum cleaners, risking death or mutilation. But you'd like that, wouldn't you, Dan, you sadistic, elitist, sexist, racist, anti-humanist pig!

Dan Aykroyd: Jane, you ignorant, misguided slut! Once again, you missed the point entirely. [ enraged ] Why should I pay hard-earned dollars so welfare tarts can have sex anytime they want, without regards to consequences? Haven't these bimbos heard of abstinence? I, myself, haven't had sex for two years - and I'm rich! Why should I foot the bill for killing unborn infants, anyway? I'll pay for something practical like sterilization - but abortions? Never! With one exception - if I had been around when your mother was having you, not only would I have paid for the abortion, but I would have performed it myself!

Jane Curtin: Thank you, Dan.

Dan Aykroyd: Uh.. recent bulletin. This just in: Garrett Morris is dead. What appears to have been a drug-related incident, eight youths fatally shot the late "Update" correspondent at a mid-town playground. Another Paraquet-related death, Jane.

Jane Curtin: Hoping your news is good news. Good night, and have a pleasant tomorrow.

Announcer: "Weekend Update" is a presentation of "Saturday Night News". Keeping America informed for over a fiftieth of a century.

Am I underweight or overtall?

Hopefully that will be an issue in his reelection campaign--unless something happens and he is forced out like his predecessor Spitzer!!!

Don't Let Yourself Get Upset About It. New York Is NOT For Everyone. It Is AN Expensive Whore of A City and I Know Because I Have Lived Here And Done Business Here All My Life. It's The Kind of City That If You Cannot Afford To Live Here or Have A Problem With Rising Prices On Absolutely EVERYTHING - MOVE. Don't waste your breath or your energy trying to rally people into trying to change the cost of living in New York. It Won't Happen. This City Was Rewardewd With The Revenue of 45 Miilion Tourists just Last Year Alone who Bought Everything That Wasn't Nailed Down at Prices ONLY Tourists would Pay. New York Is Priced For Tourists. Not For Those Who Live Here. The Sooner You Realize That and The Fact That You Are Whistling in The Wind When You Expect This City To Change, The BETTER.
