What do you guys think would be the chances of the series ever being released to dvd? I know alot of short-lived series are being released and was wondering if people think this one is a possibility?

Hmmmm- this wasn't a big ratings-getter, when it premiered midseason or in season two. Have there been any short-lived series released that weren't ratings hits? Sometiems, a show will come on mid-season and do well, and then return for a second season and bomb- maybe shows like that have gotten released?

I asked about this series over at Shout Factory forum and they thought about it but decided to pass at the moment. here's what they had to say
There was a time when we looked at The Charmings. While I in no way speak for the acquisitions department, I just don't think there'd be any chance it would have enough of a die-hard fan base to release on DVD. We'd have to sell a minimum of 10-12,000 copies and I can't be sure there are 12,000 people that even remember The Charmings without the need of a serious reminder, let alone 12,000 that remember it fondly enough to put down money to own it. Brian Disappointing to say the least, but maybe theres hope for a MOD-type release from a different company. I wonder if Mill Creek would ever be interested. |

I'd get it- I even would not be opposed to MOD-type availability, for a decent price.
