I'd gladly welcome a 12-hour work day...

Well, a week of 12 hour work days does result in a very nice check, for sure. Also, I do believe that good hard work is good for the soul. However, last August I worked 12 hour days for an entire month and by the end of that month I was ready to drop. And mind you this is 12 hour work days working with college students. In the end though, it's okay because I really like my job.

I guess I should be counting my blessings that I even have a ****ing job at all. But really. This ain't going to get my bills paid or put food on the table.

I want to be working in the daytime anyway, so this is just another excuse to think about quitting my job. Hmph.

Also, one of the newer guys who gets more hours than me is a ****ing *******, too. IF YOU SEE MY **** RESTING ON SOMETHING, THAT MEANS I AM COMING TO WORK ON IT. IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN MOVE MY **** AND WORK ON WHAT I WAS GOING TO WORK ON. JERKWAD. GO FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO WORK ON. ****ing jerkwad. I don't even do that to other people at work! I see their jacket or accessories resting on something... I know they've claimed that particular area to work on. God, just **** you.
OMG...that would so piss me off. I am so possesive over work sometimes, particularly if it's with someone whom I think doesn't do the work correctly. I'm a perfectionist.

I'm sorry to hear that, Lauren. I just watched something on tv about how the economy is affecting restaurants. I feel for you honey.

I'm on the hunt for a different job now. I'd like to leave again, for good, before I turn 25 and that's in 1 1/2 years (August 2010). Come on!

I really hope he gets me something nice for Valentines day. I got him a really thoughtful gift and I hope he does the same and I hope that he's only joking when he says he doesn't know what he's getting me.

I received a letter today from my university. Assignments that we handed in for a module over two months ago (due date was 8th November) have all been lost and everyone needs to re-submit them.

Not only do I feel that they could have said something sooner (I guess they wanted to keep searching first, but still, we handed them in over two and a half months ago) - BUT I think I've deleted mine. I usually keep assignments for about a month after submitting them, and then tend to delete them to free up space on my memory stick. So I'm going to have to re-write the thing!

It's so annoying. I'm a bit irritated with myself for not keeping it but how was I to know they'd be lost? I'm also annoyed with lecturer for losing them; I understand these things happen, but even so...

Thanks guys. One of my friends told me that they might let students who can't find their assignments take the mark for their second assignment for the entire module. I'll try to speak to someone today and find out if that's the case.

I also need to sort out my timetable; one of my modules isn't listed...
