BCI is closing up shop.
Rhino has stopped releasing TV shows on DVD. But what's the deal with Image? I haven't heard anything about them lately. They were the best at releasing every season of a series. Case in point, "Saved by the Bell: The New Class." There's no way that was a big seller, and yet all seven seasons (in six boxsets) came out. I believe season 1 came out in January '05 and the final season came out in December '05. They also released every episode of "The Twilight Zone" and "Hearts Afire." Any word on this company? I miss them.

They seem to be only releasing Dicovery/Travel channel series now. I don't know about anything else.

I forgot to mention that Image also released every episode of both "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and "I Spy."

They also released both seasons of Father Murphy. Those are the only two sets I own by them and they did a great job.

If you liked the show you'll like the sets. Too bad no special features though but the episodes look great (except for 1 with a disclaimer that the original elements couldn't be found). |

Out of curiosity, does that mean that the episode in question is unedited on the DVD, but in terrible condition, compared to the rest of the episodes on the DVD? Last edited by Vahan : 01-05-2009 at 11:12 PM. |

The episode does appear to be unedited since the run time matches the others. I wouldn't say terrible condition but there is defnitely a noticable difference from the other episodes. Aside from some dust and grain the episode is completely watchable. |
