Justine Bateman: No More Family Ties

(WireImage)

The Partridge Family may be coming back, but don’t expect more Family Ties!

“It was specific to that ’80s moment,” Justine Bateman, who wrote the Oct. 12 episode of Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place, tells OK!.

The actress has been keeping busy with Wizards, as well as appearing on Arrested Development with her brother, Jason Bateman, Men in Trees and most recently, Desperate Housewives.

As for TV bro Michael J. Fox’s health, Justine talks about his attitude: “Michael says, ‘I got a great basket of goods when my life was dealt out. This is just part of it.’”

I don't care what she says or what roles she plays, I'll still remember her as Mallory Keaton.

Exactly. That's how I think of her as Mallory Keaton. I associate her real name with Family Ties and the Mallory character she played.

Cool

I thought she was great as one of the lesbian neighbors (along with Julia Campbell) on Still Standing! But of course I'll always remember her best as Mallory Keaton!

I liked her on the show Men In Trees. So I would associate her first with Family Ties and then second by Men In Trees.
