Specials & Marathons

- Thanksgiving Nite
Thursday, November 27, 2008
9:00pm-12:00am ET/PT
Viewers will get to see how Nick at Nite's favorite families celebrate Thanksgiving. They invite neighbors, they go to a NFL game, they go away on vacation, they help homeless shelters, and they go to a massage parlor...huh? You'll see all that on Thanksgiving night as Nick at Nite presents Thanksgiving episodes of Home Improvement, George Lopez and Fresh Prince!

Thursday, November 27
9:00PM Home Improvement #083 My Dinner with Wilson
While entertaining the Taylor family for Thanksgiving, Wilson announces that he's moving away. But Tim tries to keep Wilson as a neighbor-and gets a peek at life from the other side of the fence
9:30PM Home Improvement #160 Thanksgiving
Tim, who planned to spend Thanksgiving Day with his family watching the Lions' football game from a luxury box, gets a VIP tour of the Silverdome's control room and manages to black out the entire stadium.
10:00PM George Lopez #063 The Simple Life, Part 1
When George decides a new job opportunity may be for him, he takes the family to a little town in Colorado on "vacation" during Thanksgiving.
10:30PM George Lopez #064 Trouble in Paradise, Part 2
A horrible Thanksgiving dinner that features a drunk Carmen and dirty secrets about the little Colorado town, convinces the Lopez's that L.A. is still the place for them.
11:00PM Fresh Prince of Bel Air #133 There's the Rub, Part 1
Hilary and Carlton volunteer at a homeless shelter on Thanksgiving.
11:30PM Fresh Prince of Bel Air #134 There's the Rub, Part 2
Will and Philip are arrested at a massage parlor on Thanksgiving, meanwhile Hilary and Carlton get a lesson in humility at the homeless shelter.

Wow, I guess Roseanne really has run it's course on Nick@Nite. I can't recall any other shows that did Thanksgiving episodes as good as Roseanne.

I don't know why NAN insists stopping their marathons at midnight. Why not just take them the entire night? That would leave room for more Thanksgiving episodes of Home Improvement, Fresh Prince, and Roseanne, which had the best Thanksgiving episodes of all time, IMO.

I think it would make more sense to have a Thanksgiving marathon on wednesday night because I don't think many people will watch N@N on the night of thanksgiving. I may just can it on the west coast N@N since i will be watching football.

Don't they usually do marathons like this on like the Sunday before? Sunday would be a good day.
