I understand Louise and Edith was friends but this still was a strange moment-LOL
In the ep-"Jeffersons Move Up"-right before the Jeffersons head out this is the strange moment
Edith: "Louise Have I ever told you that I love you? Louise: "Everyday we spent together" HUH??????????-LOL I would think this would be better Edith: "Louise I'm going to miss you very much now that you are moving to Manhattan" Louise: "i feel the same Edith, I'm going to miss you too" |

I don't see anything weird about it. it was just one of those nice, sweet moments in television history.
Now of Goerge said that to Archie, I could see something strange about that

Why is that strange? It's no different than a woman telling her sister that she loves her. Friends do that all the time. I've told my friends that I love them. Now, if we're talking "romantic", then no. Of course not, but I just don't find it strange.
