I just saw a news story announcing the new evidence.
The stepson of Jack Tarrance, a Zodiac suspect, has given the FBI something he found in his stepdads personal belongings, a black hood with the Zodiac symbol sewn in it. A major discovery which has the potential to solve the case. Have you had a chance to see the news story and if so, what do you think? Chris |

I was quite intruigued by the rolls of undeveloped film. This guy's son Dennis supposedly developed one of them and there were gruesome images of murders on them.
It all almost sounds too good to be true. I hope its not a bluff.

AMW has a decent comparison of some of the main Zodiac suspects. The second one listed is Jack Tarrance, the man listed in the yahoo article.
In case you can't find the yahoo article its here: http://cbs13.com/local/zodiac.killer....2.805799.html And the AMW comparison is here: http://www.amw.com/features/feature_...il.cfm?id=1542 |

It's a hoax. The guys who has presented this evidence has scammed several people in the past. Google his name and you'll find out.
1. He's charged people for purchase of a book that has never been published. 2. He has also faked phone calls with the FBI. 3. He's claimed to have had Paul Stine's shirt, only to prove that it was a fabrication. 4. He;s also threatened to kill other Zodiac researches on more than one occasion. |

just to play devil's advocate.
Do we know that the person posting online is the same person as Dennis? Or maybe it's an imposter. |

I thought I had recently seen a show where they said that the kids information seemed valid. I hope he isn't a scammer, but you just never know. I can't believe you would want your step father to be the Zodiac killer...kinda freaky. Some people view celebrity differently I guess. |

I have always thought the resemblance of this guy Jack, and the Zodiac were uncanny. However,on voice redordings, the Zodiac never sounded like he had a southern accent, and this guy Jack does.
Heres an interesting video to watch: http://twistedminds.creativescapism....zodiac-killer/ |

The funny thing is that tonight, the show "Haunting Evidence" on TruTV is going to focus on the Zodiac killer. I have watched the show several times and this is the premier for this season. I think it will be interesting to see what they will bring up on the show tonight. |

I saw Haunting Evidence. Interesting stuff although they forgot to mention one thing...a police officer actually stopped the Zodiac after the murder of the cab driver but because of a botched description, didn't detain him. That's how they were able to get a sketch of the suspect.
The interesting bit was the psychic talking about the cab driver and why the Zodiac (he claimed) decided to kill him. |

I have watched the show for a long time now and John Oliver is the one out of the two that I pay the most attention to. He seems to pick up on a lot of really good information. |

Jack Tarrance is not the Zodiac. His stepson has put out all sorts of lies as part of his beef to get back at his stepdad, who he clearly hated, possibly with justification. His stepson Dennis claimed Tarrance murdered Dennis's mom (Tarrance's wife), even though it has been clearly established that she died in a hospital of natural causes. He also, at one point, tried to sell part of the cabdriver Paul Stine's shirt (Zodiac sent a part of his shirt in one of his letters to prove he killed him) to one of the Zodiac researchers for $50,000 (which is unbelievably heinous on many levels, not the least of which is that it would be denying law enforcement an absolute smoking gun in this long unsolved case). He has been pushing this bogus theory for years, along with his completely unproven theory that Tarrance was also the killer in some unsolved murders in Texarkana. His evidence has been thoroughly discredited, including the so-called "evidence" referred to in that AMW thread. No doubt he has fabricated some new evidence in his effort to continue to slander his dead stepfather.
