Default Is Philly the only place that we refer to a snow cone as "WATER ICE"

Some people from other cities that i chat with online said they never heard of a WATER ICE-lol


So what do you guys call a snow cone in boston, NYC, cleveland, dallas, baltimore, and La??

We call it Sno Cones in Dallas.

I think that Water Ice is just a Philly thing

I had to ask my dad, whom was born and raised in Philly; and he told me that it was the Italians were responsible for calling a snow cone," water ice"; because, that where the snow cone idea came from...but, here in California, it is called, a Snow-Cone...

We call them sno cones here too. I've never heard them called water ice before.

yeah, sno cones in upstate ny as well...never heard of water ice lol. it's like an oxymoron.
