Another Florida Man Dials 911, Claims Slot Machine Stole His Money - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

TAMPA, Fla. - A second Florida man has been arrested on charges of making false 911 calls in as many days. An arrest report says 47-year-old Carlos Gutierrez was at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino early Monday and called 911 to say the slot machine stole his money. The report says Gutierrez left the casino to place a second 911 call to say the same thing.

He was arrested and charged with making a false 911 call. He's being held with no bail set.

On Sunday another man was arrested after calling 911 five times during an argument with his brother. He demanded that dispatchers send deputies to help sort things out.

And in northern Florida last week, a Jacksonville man called 911 to complain that a Subway left the sauce off a spicy Italian sandwich.

Okay, put all these morons in a ring and let them kill each other. Saves the police's time, tax payer's money, and human kind as a whole. I can't believe people like this can function on a daily basis. They're the reason breathing and heartbeat are involuntary. If they had to think about it, they'd die in seconds.

This story reminds me of an episode of Barney Miller ("The Arsonist", Season 2) when Chano and Fish arrest a guy for shooting a candy machine because it ate his money, too.

This is one of those times when you wish the physics of the cartoon world could be applied to real life.

In other words I wish they could have reached through the telephone and smacked this guy upside the head.

They could kill each other by stupidity, which, when you think about it, is often a lethal weapon. Yes, HOW people like this can function, if you call it that, baffles me.
