Here's a new item from my 9th Avenue Design shop, a bench for my friend's at Conker Hill over on 10th Avenue.
![]() This second pic is of the Conker Hill "shield" logo I carved into the wood before I painted the bench with a clear poly coat: ![]() And yes, i can work with materials other than steel. for full details about this baby, click on my webpage in my signature. ![]()

Thank you folks.
I'm going to start building another one tomorrow that will fit in the same corner to create an L shaped seating area. The next one will be shorter and will have something different carved in the top. Haven't figured that out yet. |

I carved the Conker Hill logo on the benchtop.
Here's a partial photo. I will post some better pics after installation tomorrow. |

Very Nice! Are the benches pretty heavy? They look like they might be.

Not really. The legs are made from thin wall tubular steel, which is strong but light. The plates in front add some weight though. The benchtop is made from a two sheets of plywood sandwiched together to look like a thick piece. Don't give away my secrets! ![]() |

You keep undoing yourself, Tom. Your work is becoming better, and bigger! Keep up the good work.
