Default Ginger "Snaps"!

Another fav fem. char. on the show (besides the GR8 Miss Edwards) is the ever loyal (WHY????) g/f of Wally the Mooch. But she does let him have it every now and then - and good for her -cause Wally can sure be exassperating!

I think she's sassy and fun - your thoughts gang?

I love Ginger esp when she gives ole mooching Wally the one-two! Heck, I just watched "The Exploding Book" and was Wally the schemer!! Had Ginger saw how he behaved here, she would have never hooked up with him!

Ginger certainly could have done better and there was one episode when Rick was sort of "looking out for Wally" and Ginger certainly was appreciating the attention Rick was giving her

Yeah in the end Ginger ends up going back to ol munch-mouth. She's really great in "Kris Plays Cupid" where she thinks Wally is her date & he ends up bringing a second girl - boy - Ginger really goes after him in that one with a frying pan screaming "I'll sweetie pie you!!!

Which episode is it when Ginger tells Wally she has a flower for him and drops a potted plant from a second story window on top of his head?

He done her wrong somehow in that episode.

I know that one! Oh I haven't watched it in a long while.

Wally was in deep do do with Ginger, as always. I can't remember why. But Rick and Wally go to seranade Ginger to get back in Gingers good graces. They go to her window at the sorority. Ricks playing the guitar and Wally start singing. Ginger come sto the window acts like she loves it, asks Wally to come closer she wants to see him. Then she drops a flower pot on his head. Rick and Wally walk away. That's the end of the show.

Now that I said that, I'm remembering that Wally sang Have I Told You Lately that I Love You.
So I think the episode is where Rick was also singing that song earlier.

I think the episode is about Wally's Pen Pal.

It's a VERY funny episode. Wally has a pen pal, a female. He's been writing her for a few years. They traded picures. Wally sent her Ricks photo though. He also had a million lies in there about all he did. So Rick, who was married in the episode too, was pretending to be Wally for the pen pal. There was a frat party. Rick/Wally pretends to be sick, so Wally/Rick can take the pen pal to the dance. And all the frat boys went along with it. Only then some of the girls found 'Rick' was at the party, and people started saying, Rick's here? Rick how about a song?? So they get Rick over there, now Wally/Rick has to sing. So they set it up so real Rick is in the kitchen with a mic and his guitar. He's singing and out in the other room, Wally is out there lip syncing Rick's song. Oh there's a hilarious scene earlier when the Frat boys all get together and try to make Wally into Rick. The frat boys also pull a few pranks during the song which reveals the whole big sham. Oh course Ginger had found out and was pretty mad Wally was going out with some other girl. Wally tries to make up to her by seranading her, and gets a flower pot dumped on his head. There's also an attached song on it, at least on my version of Rick singing I don't know the real name. I think it might be called For You. I always call it I will gather stars.

That's a good episode.

Found it !!! Wally's Pen-Pal 11/6/1963

Ozzie & Harriet introduce the show and tell that they will sit back and watch as the younger generation takes over. Rick is in the show and David is directing.

Rick delivers a letter to Wally from a pen-pal that Wally has been writing to. Ginger comes in, calls him ''fatso'' and knows Wally is hiding something and sees the letter, so she grabs and reads it and his pen-pal says she has a lay-over tomorrow and wants to meet him at the airport during her lay-over. Ginger storms out.

Wally then informs Rick that he sent a picture of Rick to the girl, so the girl will be expecting to see Rick. Rick goes to the airport with Wally to meet the girl thinking it will be just an hour lay-over. Rick poses as Wally, and they mention how it is too bad that she can't stay for the party that night. She says she can, so Wally & Rick hustle back and the guys at the dorm practice calling Rick, Wally and Wally, Rick.

During the party, Rick is supposed to sing, so Wally is introduced as Rick and Rick is in another room with his guitar and a mic and he proceeds to sing, ''Have I Told You Lately That I Love You'' as Wally lip syncs on stage.

A couple of the Frat guys come in and try to mess Rick up as he is singing, grabbing the mic and yelling, ba-ba-ba-boo, and then using pepper and whipped cream, etc to mess with Rick. Rick sneezes and makes more funny noises as Wally is on stage trying to keep up with the sounds coming from the mic. Very funny stuff.

They come clean with the pen-pal and all is well, and then Wally realizes he needs to schmooze it over with Ginger and phones Rick. Rick tells Wally to get his guitar and meet him outside the sorority house. Rick plays his guitar while Wally serenades Ginger. Ginger tells Wally to move into the light as she wants to drop a flower to him, then she drops a potted plant on his head. And, then a bucket of water on top to ''water the flower''.

I LOVE this show !!!!!!!
