Default VH1 TO AIR 'I LOVE THE NEW MILLENIUM' SERIES

I saw the advertisement for it tonight. Couldn't they wait until the decade closed out?
I Love the New Millennium, the latest entry into the I Love the series, will premier on VH1 Monday, June 23, 2008. Each night, from Monday to Thursday, two of the eight episodes will air, corresponding to the years 2000 to 2007.

Topics rumored to be discussed include:

Big Mouth Billy Bass
Sisqo's "Thong Song"

Ugg boots
iPods
Janet Jackson's "Wardrobe Malfunction"
Saddam Hussein
Tivo
Trucker hats

I thought we'd be seeing this in like 2010 or later but before the decade's over.

I was hoping for an I love the 60's but guess I'm crap outta luck, hey???

I too have to admit it would be nice if they would wait for the decade to be over, I mean, we only got 2 more years left!!!

for the exceptions of a few shows, the 00s, especially when it comes to popular culture and entertainment sucks overall compared to 60s-90s. there isn't really much to celebrate from this millenium/decade
