Is it possible that Jin could have survived the explosion aboard the ship?

I don't know. With the explosion that fierce I say no. but I thought Sawyer was a goner when he jumped from the plane. How much did Sawyer have to swim.

^ I thought that since he was topside and knew the ship was about to explode that maybe he jumped ship. But since it was such a big explosion, he probably didn't have much of a chance of survival. As for Sawyer jumping out of the helicopter and making it back to shore, that was pretty incredible too. It looked like the ship was pretty far away from the island. Maybe the tide helped carry him in. lol!
