For some time now I've been compiling info about "Ned and Stacey" for databases, but there is one episode that I cannot find a title, original broadcast date or episode number for. Neither the IMDb or epguides.com lists it, yet the episode itself is shown regularly on the USA network as part of their "USAM" morning sitcom lineup.
The episode guest stars Tim Conlan (Clay) and Cylk Cozart (Doug) and also features recurring characters John Getz (Les McDowell) and James Karen (Pat Kirkland). In it, Ned is being undermined at the ad agency by the young hotshot Clay and is scared to take a vacation for fear that Clay will become the new top salesman. If anyone has any info about this episode, or if anyone knows any other good "Ned and Stacey" sites on the web, I'd appreciate it very much if you'd let me know. Thanks! |

Thanks for the info, and the link to the website as well. When I saw the episode name, I thought it looked familiar, so I checked out the two sources I mentioned before and found that both the IMDb and epguides.com list the episode by title, number and original broadcast date, with epguides providing a plot summary, but both of them incorrectly list a guest cast which includes LL Cool J! So now there's another "N&S" mystery to solve!
BTW, I like this website and the message boards, but they could use one small improvement, at least. When you go to edit a message you've posted (a new topic), you're unable to access and correct the topic heading. I mistakenly wrote "ned" instead of "Ned" in this thread's heading. I can't correct it and it's driving me crazy! |

Yeah, I know that IMDB and epguides seem to think this. I have to assume that one cribbed from the other. IMDB is very good, but you can't believe everything they have. Anyone who compiles that much data is going to have quite a few boo-boo's. After all, Mister Ed wasn't really a zebra!
![]() Many LL Cool J pages such as this page list his TV appearances. There is no "Ned and Stacey". The "LL Cool J" and "Ned and Stacey" fan pages all agree that he never appeared on the show. So I really don't see any "mystery" here. |

Thanks! I think that's something I can add - I'll look into it.. I've corrected it to "Ned". Marietta, GA? It's a small world.. |

Thanks, TJ. Yes, I noticed you were a hometown boy. Sorry, though, I'm pretty secretive about my identity. It's a small world, alright, but Marietta nowadays isn't exactly your proverbial small town.
