Now, was this ship really haunted or was it all a publicity stunt? I remember there were a few people saying they heard things when they were on the ship.

I visited the ship and it was said to be haunted. There was at one time a webcam where you can visit online and hopefully see or hear something. I personally did not see or hear anything while touring the ship.

I am one of those "gotta see it to believe it" people on most things. I did visit the ship last year and did the more expensive ghost tour that takes you into the non-public areas of the ship.
While I did not see anything, I could feel cool spots. I heard strange noises in the bow of the ship, and many people on the tour "experienced" feelings. We did cram in one of the staterooms that they took out of order from renting due to various complaints of hauntings. One thing to note is that the room was very small. As we were in there, a smell came about--as if you lit a match and blew it out. It was not like that when we entered and it was concentrated only at the foot of the bed, nowhere else in the room. Shortly afterward, the smell went away. Nobody in there had lit a match and smoking wasn't permitted. I checked around outside to see if maybe something from a vent could have caused it but found nothing. The smell came and went away while we were in there...and only in that one small part of the room. I tested this by walking around to other parts and could not smell it unless I was at the foot of the bed about 2 ft. above it. The cool spot I felt was at that door 13 in the boiler room where that guy was crushed. It was alot of fun, and I want to go back to see if I experience anything different next time. |

I would think of the ghost stories this would be one of the more believeable ones.
