Default You know you are spending too much time with Laverne & Shirley when:

I got this idea from Janice Johnson and her thread on the GOOD TIMES board.

You know you spend too much time with Laverne & Shirley (or Lenny & Squiggy, etc.) when:

You start drinking milk and Pepsi.

You refer to your pet dog as "Boo Boo Kitty".

You randomly sing, "I know I'd go from rags to riches".

You wear the letter "L" on your clothes.

You call your best friend "Shirl".

You barge into people's homes without knocking and saying, "Hello".

You use tape to hold down your bangs.

You feel the need to YELL AT EVERYONE ALL THE TIME a la Frank DeFazio.

You feel the need to SING BADLY ALL THE TIME a la Carmine.

You feel the need to move from Milwaukee to Hollywood and take everyone you know with you.

Yesterday while out to lunch with my boyfriend, we went to this place and they have a mike there to announce when your order is done. I couldn't help but giggle and think of that!

You pretend to be a newlywed couple so you can get a free stay at a hotel

You dress up like guys & go in the men's room to see what's wrote on the wall about you

You string your boyfriend along for years & years without doing the deed

Also, i would think busting out with "High Hopes" while facing one of life's little problems might qualify you as well.

The Big Ragoo probably had the biggest set of blue balls on TV.

Yeah, I think poor Carmine took a LOT of cold showers back then.

And to think, all those years, and they never did hook up. I love the show, but my one peeve with it was the fact that they would make Carmine and Shirley look so madly in love in one show, and the very next show she'd be trying to hook up with someone. She was always after the doctors especially. Then the next show, they were inseparable again. It was very confusing. Plus, if Carmine so much as looked at another girl, Laverne and Shirley both acted like he was a "scum of the earth" cheater.
