TC is actually the saddest ending to a series I've ever seen (though it is amazingly well done).

Bittersweet: M*A*S*H

Happy: Seinfeld

Actually, since I never thought they were right for each other (Myra, anyone?), I don't think that one was a happy ending, but rather an annoying ending.

The ending was in a made-for movie, but the end of The Incredible Hulk sucked. After all that running and trying to find a cure...David falls out of a plane and dies. It was sad and I hated it.

I actually heard that they were supposed to do another movie where he came back but then Bill Bixby got sick so that ended all that.

how's 'bout the finale of "BARNEY MILLER"? Where they all leave the squad room for the last time, Barney's the last one to leave, he pauses at the door, turns and looks around, thinks about the others (and they show clips) then he turns out the light and closes the door.

Coach: "I'm sorry"

The Happy Days finale was good with the Wedding of Joanie and Chachi, as well as That 70's Show with Eric and Donna getting back together.

I hated the Everybody Loves Raymond finale. You would think they could've done better. On the season 9 dvd set, Ray mentions in the commentary that the original series finale was going to be what was the season premiere that year when Marie and Frank move out and then get kicked out of the condo. What ended up being the finale was originally the premiere that year! I think the original plan would've made the ending better!

it ended with a birth and a new beginning for two lovers...but it was one of the best finales of recent history. FRIENDS

the W and G finale was fun to watch but was vague.....

best finale of all time MASH

Default TV Series Finales That Had Happy/Sad Endings

I liked the finale for The Odd Couple -- it was funny and well done -- Felix finally wins his ex-wife Gloria back -- Oscar gets his apartment to himself again.

another good one was "THE FUGITIVE" with Richard Kimble finnaly becoming freed.

And, I think the worst one was "MASH".

Yeah...I wish that could have been made. If for no other reason than to see what they had in mind.

But that's why there's fan fiction. I have my own ideas.
