Default Mark Templeton (Roger Torrey)

Hi friends, During the last year of the Beverly Hillbillies Mark Templeton appeared played by Roger Torrey. I notice Torrey died in 1985. Does anyone know what was the cause of death? I remember seeing him in other programs.

I know that according to Max Baer Jr., Torrey was either the producers first choice to play Jethro or was just up for the part, I don't remember. I believe he died of a heart attack. He was in his late 40s.
