File Uploading Question - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Ok, I ripped some dvds on my mom's computer and I want to get them to mine. Email takes too long and so does saving them on Megaupload.com

Is there an easier way to do this? Thanks in advance!

Get an external hard drive, transfer them to it, then trasfer it to your computer.

I'm not at all a technology person but many times i've transferred files through Yahoo, AIM, or MSN messenger on each of the two computers. Doesn't take as long as email but it's worth a try i guess.

an external hard drive has more memory than a flash drive.
but it's pretty much the same concept.

an external hard drive is very handy - you can use it to back up files or share files between computers, but they are expensive.

you can get a 8 or 16 GB flash drive that would hold a full dvd's worth of data, but they can be pretty pricey too

another option is to copy the files over your network, or make a network connection with a crossover cable and sync software, or use an Easy Transfer cable OR you could use a simple product like one of these:
